Yehia Zaki, SCZone Chairperson, and Raoul Rohan, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz, signed the contract between the two sides to establish the centre.
Zaki said that the agreement is an important step by Mercedes-Benz in supporting the auto industry at the SCZone. He also noted that projects and contracts with major international companies would support and advance investment in the region.
He added that these extended negotiations have taken place regarding the project, and the SCZone has now succeeded in completing all the negotiation stages. It has now reached the establishment of a logistics centre for Mercedes-Benz that includes a storage yard for cars, a centre for auto parts, and a maintenance workshop.
