Comair to resume Johannesburg – Harare flights

SA Bidco gets the nod to buy BA’s local operator, Comair

SOUTH AFRICA – SA Bidco, a new South African entity with no commercial operations and no trading before, has been given the green light to buy the local operator of British Airways, Comair. The Competition Commission revealed that it had approved the proposed transaction between the two companies on condition that it would not result in a horizontal overlap because SA BidCo and its controllers did not conduct any activities or services that compete with Comair. Royal Air Maroc, British Airways sign codeshare agreement to offer more choice to customers

MOROCCO – Morocco’s flag carrier, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has announced the signing of a codeshare agreement with British Airways. Royal Air Maroc explained that the new agreement will create new routes across Morocco including Casablanca and Agadir that will provide customers with more convenience and flexibility.
