CHAD-CAMEROON – Savannah Energy, the African’s oil, and gas industry-focused British independent energy company, is in advanced exclusive discussions with ExxonMobil with respect to the proposed acquisition of its entire upstream and midstream asset portfolio in Chad and Cameroon. CENTRAL AFRICA – The African Development Bank (AfDB) has signed an agreement for €30 million (US$33.78 million) in funding from the European Union (EU) for the completion of the electricity interconnection project between Chad and Cameroon. CENTRAL AFRICA – The International Development Association (IDA), a subsidiary of the World Bank Group, has approved a loan of US$385 million for Cameroon-Chad power interconnection project.
