Payment startup Chipper Cash raises US$6m for Southern Africa expansion

AFRICA – African cross-border fintech startup Chipper Cash has raised a US$6 million seed round led by Deciens Capital, a venture capital firm that focuses on making angel and seed investments. The San Francisco-based company offers mobile-based, no fee, P2P payment services in six countries: Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria, Tanzania, Rwanda and Kenya.
