AFRICA – Nutanix Inc., American cloud computing company, has appointed of Rowen Grierson as regional sales director for Sub-Saharan Africa to succeed Paul Ruinaard. A seasoned Nutanix professional, Grierson was formerly the regional sales director for the West, East, and Central Africa regions, and with his new appointment will now add the Southern Africa territory to what is a growing market for the company. Oracle loses Chief Executive Mark Hurd raising expectations on Co-Chief Safra Catz

UNITED STATES – American multinational computer technology corporation Oracle Corporation has lost its 62-year-old co-chief Mark Hurd who died in late October this year.
