EU injects US$46.3m to boost agribusiness in Kenya

KENYA – Agribusiness in Kisii and Uasin Gishu counties in Kenya has received a much-needed shot-in-the-arm with a US$46.3 million funding from the European Union. Ethiopia’s Assela Wind Farm secures $169 million funding from Danske Bank

ETHIOPIA – Ethiopian Parliament has granted its final approval for a loan agreement signed by Ministry of Finance and Danske Bank for financing of the 100 megawatts Assela Wind Farm Project. The approval marks the end of financial negotiations and the beginning of the execution phase of the Assela Wind Farm financed by the Danish government.
