SOUTH AFRICA – Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (FMCSA), the subsidiary of the American manufacturer Ford has announced a plan to ensure its autonomy in electricity supply and to green in its production in South Africa by 2024. CANADA – America’s second largest car manufacturer, Ford Motor Co has announced plans to cut about 450 jobs at its Oakville assembly plant in Ontario, as it discontinues production of the Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT, Reuters has reported.
