NIGERIA – Technology group Andritz has been commissioned by Mainstream Energy Solutions Ltd to modernize a generation unit at Jebba hydroelectric power plant on the Niger River. Mainstream Energy Solutions Ltd is a privately owned power generating company in Nigeria, licenced to operate the Kainji and Jebba hydroelectric power plants through a concession agreement with the Federal Government of Nigeria. FGIS partners with French company Meridiam to construct hydroelectric power plant in Gabon

GABON – The Gabonese Strategic Investment Fund (FGIS) and Meridiam have signed a turnkey contract with Asonha Energie for the construction of the Kinguélé Aval dam and hydroelectric power plant in the Mbei region, Estuary province in Gabon.
