Fintech startup Okra raises US$3.5m seed round to expand its data infrastructure across Nigeria

NIGERIA – Okra, a Lagos based fintech startup, has secured a US$3.5 million seed raise led by US-based Susa Ventures, with participation from existing investors TLcom Capital, and newly joined Accenture Ventures. This comes just under a year from closing its US$1 million pre-Seed round with only TLcom Capital participating in the round. This brings Okra’s total funding at seed to US$4.5 million. Nigerian startups Okra and Autochek partner to offer car loans to customers

NIGERIA – Fintech startup Okra has partnered with Autochek, an automotive technology startup, to offer users of the latter access to digital car loans facilitated by the former.
